柒、珍惜正法因緣
Cherish the True Path Opportunity
地球有一大混沌,人有一小混沌,地球的大混沌就是一劫地球的生滅,人的一小混沌就是人的生死。自子會開天,丑會闢地,寅會生人以來,我們原本都是住在人世間的佛,後來因為受到五蘊六毒所染,喪失本然良心,以致載浮生死、輪迴六道。現在地球已經到了成住壞空的第三期,如同秋季即將進入冬季一樣,上天要開始收人,所以稱之為末劫,末劫時期乃是收殺之期,而上天不忍玉石俱焚,所以派下明師傳道,普度三曹。
Earth has a big chaos (Big Bang), human has a little chaos. Earth's big chaos represents the birth and death of Earth. Human's little chaos represents the birth and the death of a person. From the beginning of big chaos, sky was formed in the initial period (Zi hui), earth was created in the second period (Chou hui), then came the birth of human in the third period (Yin hui).
The original human beings were all living Buddha in the early periods. As time passed on, all human’s inner Buddha sense was polluted and clouded by our judgement and poison feelings, such as "greed, hatred, illusion" etc. invaded the Man's heart for a long period of time, resulting in the selfish, competitive and the vengeful world today. It caused the human to trap in reincarnations over and over. Now the Earth has moved into the Third Period out of four-period-chaos-cycle, like the four seasons on earth, when we move from autumn to winter, all growing things will die under the harsh living conditions. In this Third Period of Earth’s chaos cycle, all human will be extinct as well when we move to the Fourth Period; we call this transition period Doomsday. Doomsday is where all living things and all human on earth will face extinction, but our Heavenly Mother does care for good souls, and sends out the Enlightened Master to show us the True Path of salvation. The Enlightened Master will also lift the good spirits in the celestial world, the human on earth, and the souls below the earth to Heaven. We called it “Three Level Lifting Salvation”
何謂普度三曹?即是人間有緣者,個個皆可以得受明師一指而超生了死;氣天界河漢星斗能因有緣人的超拔而往生聖域佛土,地府的幽冥祖先也能經由後代子孫的超拔而往生理域,所以說:「來得早不如來的巧」。
How does this “Three
Level Lifting Salvation” work?
In the human world level, everyone who follows the teaching of the Enlightened Master and walk in the True Path will have the opportunity to be lifted. Good Spirits that live in the celestial world can get lifted by living human with the help of the Enlighten Master. The souls from the underworld can also get blessed and lifted by the Enlightened Master upon the sincere application of their descendants. As people often say: “It’s better to show up at the right time than showing up earlier.”
此次三曹普度,乃是上天恩賜的最後一班列車,如果錯過,那就還要再等下個元會,也就是還要再等十二萬九千六百年,但想想,經過如此長時期的輪迴,誰敢保證下一個元會的普度,我們還有機會得人身、遇祖師、逢大道呢?
This Three-Worlds Promotion program is the last opportunity offered by the Heavenly Mother. If you miss this chance, you will have to wait until the next Earth’s big chaos cycle, which is about 129,600 years away. To think about it, you have to endure a prolonged cycle of reincarnations, and no one can guarantee that you will have the chance to be a human, to meet the Enlightened Master, and to cultivate in the True Path.
古云:「有緣遇著佛出世,無緣遇著佛涅槃。」今天大家成為九蓮聖道的一份子,真的是三生有幸,佛緣深厚,這話並非狂語,但我們也得曉得,超生了死必須覺行圓滿,所以大家今天已經得了正法,卻不肯真修實煉,終究還是無法解脫生死,如此入寶山空手而回,豈非太可惜!
There is a Chinese proverb that states the importance of the Enlightened Master: “With affinity, we meet and cultivate with a Living Buddha. Without affinity, we cultivate according to the teachings taught by a Buddha who passed away.” Today we are really fortunate that we can join and become part of the Nine Lotus Sacred Tao, to regain our Buddha nature. This is no crazy talk; however, we all know we have a lot of work to do. The Enlighten Master has shown us the True Path, but if we don’t cultivate sincerely, we will still be a lost soul and unable to reborn again. It is such a pity we entered the sacred place but come out with empty hands.
為避免修子錯過正法因緣,住世祖師特別為修子開示了『修道天梯』、『十五條佛規』,並奉 明明上帝之命,頒佈『十誡』、『八覺』、『八正道』、『六至』等誡律來作為世間修辦道的準則,讓世人皆能有所依循的實踐成佛之路,在此我們將這些準則與誡律詳錄於後:
To ensure every one of us is following the True Path, the Enlightened Master provided us with “7 Heavenly Steps of Cultivation” and “15 Buddha Rules”. Also announced the following rules in the name of The Heavenly Mother, “10 Commandments”, “8 Awareness”, “8 Proper Ways”, and “6 Ultimate Nature” for every one of us to follow and use them as the guidance for us to walk and live in the True Path. Following are the detail explained guides and rules;
修道天梯 - Seven Heavenly Steps of Cultivation:
一、 採納他人意見。
1. Accept and consider the opinions of others.
二、 返照改過自己缺點。
2. Exercise self-examination to correct our own deficiencies.
三、 利用廢物,不毀成物。
3. Recycle all wastes materials. Do not destroy useful products.
四、 遠離凡愚之短。
4. Stay away from foolish shortcomings.
五、抱聖人之長。
5. Embrace the good characteristics of sages.
六、 實自然之樸。
6. Faithful practice according to our original nature.
七、 盡天理流韻。
7. Commit to stay with the flow of Heavenly principles.
十五條佛規 - Fifteen Buddha Rules:
一、 尊敬仙佛:恪諶仙佛也。
1. Respect Spirits and Buddha:
Sincerely honor Spirits and Buddha from the depth of our heart.
二、 遵前提後:踐前聖之跡,開後賢之能也。
2. Respect our leaders, encourage and promote those under:
Follow the footprints of sages, and develop the potential of those under you.
三、 齋莊中正:磊落心地,赫赫威儀也。
3. Be Upright and Righteous:
Be open-minded and respectful.
四、 循規蹈矩:舉止方圓也。
4. Fellow the Rules:
Behave to suit properly.
五、責任負起:使命也。
5. Be Responsible:
Stay with the sacred mission conscientiously.
六、重聖輕凡:明體達用,厚薄分明也。
6. Prioritize SpiritualMissionover Worldly Matters:
Realize the essence in us and practice accordingly.
七、謙恭和藹:禮也。
7. Be modest and friendly:
Act according to the etiquette.
八、勿棄聖訓:聖人之教不棄也。
8. Keep authentic instructions in mind:
Do not forsake the teachings of sages.
九、莫著形相:絕妄棄真也。
9. Do not attach to forms and images:
Free from the judgment of good and evil.
十、手續必清:不造因果,不昧因果也。
10. Be clear and clean in all procedures:
Do not create any karma. Do not get lost in any karma.
十一、出告反面:如來如去也。
11. Bid farewell when we leave and Extend Regards upon our return:
Come and go freely and naturally.
十二、不亂系統:素其位而行也。
12. Do not get mixed up in the system:
Serve on your post faithfully.
十三、愛惜公物:無有四相也。
13. Treasure all public properties:
Free your mind from four types of images.
十四、活潑應事:伶俐徇齊也。
14. Be flexible in handling all affairs:
Be alert in response and treat all people equally.
十五、謹言慎行:開闔中和,四時經紀,修身度也。
15. Talk and act cautiously:
Keep our mind in equilibrium and act harmoniously. Remain in good faith always. Keep ourselves well cultivated so we can devote ourselves to help others.
十誡 - Ten Commandments:
一、生:互不相坑,互不相害。
1. LIFE: Do not entrap each other. Do not harm each other.
二、倫:長幼有序,倫次不逆。
2. ETHICS: Maintain orderly manner among seniors and juniors without acting on the contrary to the normal order of ethics.
三、情:動而不礙天理,不獨親其親,不獨子其子。
3. AFFECTION: Exercise affection without infringing the natural law of Heaven. One should not just care only for one’s own relatives, nor should one just love only one’s own children.
四、節:致中和,無過無不及。
4. RESTRAINT: Maintain on the path of harmony and balance, never get exceeded nor insufficient.
五、儀:容止脫俗,文質彬彬。
5. DEMEANOR: Keep appearance simple and natural. Stay in an elegance and friendly manner.
六、淨:三業清淨,不履邪淫之徑。
6. PURITY: Stay free of greediness, anger, and illusiveness. Stay away from evil and lustful acts.
七、財:取之有道,費之有道。
7. WEALTHY: Acquire wealth in a proper and legal way. Manage and spend it likewise.
八、權:是法平等,一視同仁。
8. POWER: Everyone is equal under the law. Treat everyone equally.
九、政:不涉政治,不涉國策。
9. POLITICS: Do not get involved in politics. Do not get involved with national policy making.
十、辨:道教明辨,是非分明,公私聖凡分清,不攻異端。
10. DISTINGUISHABILITY: Clearly distinguish the teaching of Tao from the teachings of the all forms of religions. Differentiate what is proper way of doing things and improper way of doing things. Draw a clear line between public and personal. Be aware the difference of the sacred duties and mundane duties. Do not attack those who hold different opinions from ours.
八覺 - Eight Awareness:
一、覺財富無常:發大慈心,貢獻道務,普濟群生。
1. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Wealth:
Exercise the nature of great compassion. Contribute the wealth to the promotion of the Taoist affairs and to the salvation of mankind.
二、 覺權勢無常:發大勇心,護法道盤,扶持天命,伸張真理。
2. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Power and Influence:
Exercise the nature of great courage. Protect the work of the Taoist mission. Uphold the essence of the ordained heavenly mandate. Promote and spread the message of the truth.
三、 覺才幹無常:發大乘心,運用於道務,服務於社會。
3. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Talent: Mahayana
Exercise the nature of the great understanding or Mahayana Heart to manage the Taoist affairs, and devoting ourselves to serve the society.
四、覺外道無常:發大慧心,遠離外道。行善佈施,有修有行,非正法真宗者,名外道。
4. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Heresy:
Exercise the nature of great wisdom. Stay away from the heretic. Those who are doing good deeds and being charitable but attaching to their efforts and merits, having no intention to search for the true Tao, are thus, regards as heretic.
五、 覺天魔無常:發大覺心,抱樸守拙。專用心機修辦者,陷害修子靈根者,陷同修於不義者,名天魔。
5. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Evil Spirits:
Exercise the nature of great awareness. Hold onto the original simplicity and innocence. Those who harbor crafty intentions in cultivating and preaching to impair followers’ spiritual growth, to misguide fellow devotees to the wrong path are regarded as evil spirits.
六、 覺所有我無常:發平等心,一切非我,勿爭勿奪,所有權能捨則捨,所有享受如夢幻泡影。
6. Awareness of the Impermanence of the All Egos:
Exercise the nature of equality. Get rid of the egos for all things. Do not struggle for winning or seizing. Try to give up one’s attachment to the ownership as much as possible. All world enjoyments are illusory and temporary.
七、 覺六親無常:發精進心,圓滿齊家,父慈子孝,兄友弟恭,夫婦恩愛,不礙天理。
7. Awareness of the Impermanence of the All Relatives:
Exercise the nature of good faith. Get along with family members perfectly. Parents are always kind to their children and the children are always filled with filial piety. Elder siblings are friendly and younger siblings are respectful. The husband and wife are truly grateful and affectionate to each other. All of such must be practiced without disobeying the heavenly law.
八、 覺法界無常:發大悲心,度脫有情離生死苦厄,願代眾生受無量苦,眾生不盡,不成佛道。
8. Awareness of the Impermanence of the Spiritual World:
Exercise the nature of great mercy. Save all of the sentient beings from the painful struggle of life and death. Suffer endless torture for all of the living beings willingly. And vow to save all beings before attaining Buddha-hood.
八正道 - Eight Proper Ways
一、 動靜正道:思惟清淨,放之循化則不除妄想,休則不勉,不落人工禪定,消息循然已。
1. TheProper Wayto Act:
Think clean and pure. Let thoughts wander about naturally and do not try to get rid of them. Do not compel yourself by any thoughts when your mind is at rest. Refrain yourself from getting into a forcible meditation. Think and act naturally.
二、 精進正道:破土尋根,冥道昭教,散之森羅萬象之中而無漏。
2. TheProper Wayof Diligent Progression:
Break through the earthly barriers and get to the roots of the essence. Faithfully adhere to the principle of the Tao and uphold all forms of religious teachings which pave the way to the principle of the Tao. Consistently apply the principle of the Tao to all things without any reservation.
三、 事業正道:經營勿失天理,士農工商,營營之心,企求不離 這個,不離那個,道在其中。
3. TheProper Wayof Career Management:
Do not run your business contrary to the code of ethics. Regardless of your profession, trade, and practices, manage your career sincerely and never depart from your own conscience nor somebody else’s conscience. In doing so, you will always stay with principle of Tao.
四、 生活正道:不遊是非之地,不享非份,不奢侈,不浪費,不 妄求,克小體圓滿大體,為道而生,為道而死,建設佛化家庭。
4. TheProper Wayof Daily Lives:
Do not set foot in wicked places with judgement of good and evil. Never share gains from unlawful means. Refrain yourself from being extravagant. Do not waste. Do not make illusive or unreasonable demands. Overcome the individual interest for the sake of the harmony of the whole. Live according to the Tao and die for the Tao. Establish a harmonious family with the faith in Tao.
五、處事正道:廉潔、平等、知恥,情理法符合實際,不礙天理,不耍花樣。
5. The Proper way of Affair and handling:
Be incorrupt, equal, and conscientious. Be practical in applying the principles of sensibility, logic, and law. Do not obstruct the heavenly rules. Refrain from trickeries.
六、言語正道:不傷人,不惡口,不妄言,不厲聲,不是非,不邪言,不綺語,不兩舌,不穢言,不諷刺,非禮不出,辯才無礙,口碑載道。
6. The Proper way of words:
Do not use offensive words. Do not speak with an abusive tongue. Do not use false words. Do not talk harshly. Do not gossip. Spread no heretic ideas. Do not use flattering tongue. Do not make double-cross talks. Do not make obscene remarks. Do not make sarcastic remarks. Do not make unjustified comments. In doing so, nothing obstructs your thoughts and you can eloquently express yourself. Your words will always adhere to the principal of Tao.
七、見解正道:明察契理,勿滯一邊,不執私見,眼光放大,透視三千,有色非色盡收慧眼之底。
7. The proper way of understanding”
Check deeply into the facts and study the truth thoroughly. Do not get stuck to extremes. Do not obstinately insist on your selfish opinions. Enlarge your scope of mind so you can see through everything in any form under any circumstances. You will then have the wisdom of vision to see through all things, visible, and invisible.
八、交接正道:不耍心機,不流下俗,成人之美,儀禮節度,文質彬彬,尊卑有序,道貌岸然。
8. The proper way in dealing with people:
Do not harbor crafty intention nor degrading ones. Help others in their accomplishments. Be polite and be refrain in manner. Be elegant and friendly. Be respectful and respectable at any high or low positions. Be sincere and firm with dignified bearing.
六至 – Six Ultimate nature
一、 事天至誠。
1. Exercise ultimate faith to stay with the heavenly nature.
二、 事親至孝。
2. Exercise ultimate filial piety to care for parents.
三、 事師至忠。
3. Exercise ultimate loyalty to honor the teacher.
四、 事上至真。
4. Exercise ultimate sincerity to serve the superior.
五、 啟下至善。
5. Exercise ultimate kindness to guide the subordinates.
六、 律己至嚴。
6. Exercise ultimate stringency to discipline oneself.
所謂至者,無有復加也,清淨也。自性流露,本非誠孝忠真善嚴之謂,皆失本然之名,今之至者不得已也,於此奠基,不執我之至,則六至不勉,名之至。
When one’s mind reaches the Ultimate state, there is no need to add anything to make it more perfect, the mind would just stay clean and clear. When one’s action follows his clear mind naturally, then one would not need to intentionally practice the virtues of faith, filial piety, loyalty, sincerity, kindness, and stringency. It is one who lost the sight of the clear mind, and then practicing six Ultimate state, and it is necessary to bring one’s action closer to the true, Tao. By using these six Ultimate states as the cultivation foundation, when one finally reaches the stage of selfless enlightenment, then there is no need of these six Ultimate states, since one’s mind is already at the Ultimate state.
所謂『無師不說性』。今天我們有幸得聞正法,乃是自古不輕傳的密寶,天地演化到了白陽期,大道才得以開始普傳,而白陽期的定盤就是從白陽第三代祖師開始,尤其末劫時期的這個時候,乃是證果者的時期,九蓮聖道白陽三盤的時代任務就是為白陽期奠下基礎,所以祂是烹煉聖賢以事上帝之盤,也就是成佛之盤,凡青陽期、紅陽期所成就的萬仙菩薩,都會再次倒裝投身於九蓮聖道以助三佛普度收圓,並因此證得更高果位,千載難逢的機緣能讓我們遇上,乃是我們累世的根基,千萬不要枉費了。
It is said, “Only the Ordained Master can explain and show us the True Path.” Today we are really fortunate to learn about the subtle and precious Path, and it was a forbidden treasure at the household level in the past. The Earth time is moving closer to the Doomsday, we are in the White Yang Era. Everyone has the opportunity to learn this Heaven’s holy secret first. We are fortunate to cultivate with the third-generation Patriarch to build a solid Tao foundation of White Yang Era, In the Doomsday period, White Yang Era, is setting the tone to make sure all the enlightened beings get promoted back to Great Heaven. Its mission is to allow everyone to have a chance to become a Buddha. All of the Enlightened Ones from the past Green Yang Era and Red Yang Era, will also return to this world from Heaven to support the current Patriarch for this grand mission. It is a rare opportunity that we get to be part of it. We surely don’t want to waste this rare opportunity.
住世祖師繼天命金線,傳授我們直指人心、見性成佛的頓法,開啟我們成佛之路,並頒佈規誡作為修辦方針,讓修子能從規誡入手,去除妄想邪念,慢慢體悟真理,以致於最後能自然依循本性良心做事,從心所欲而不逾矩,不約不違,如是則內德圓滿;若能開荒傳道救度眾生,服務社會利益國家,如此內外覺行圓滿,自然能夠證得永生佛果,逍遙十方三界。
The current Enlighten Master received His or Her appointment from the past Master, and only He or She can point out where our inner Buddha sense is, teach us how to become the ONE, show us the True Path, and provide the rules and guides to direct us toward the True Path. We will start getting rid of unnecessary desires and un-ethical thoughts, and slowly getting a hand on what living in the True Path is like. At the highest level of living in the True Path, you will act upon what your inner Buddha telling you to do, without thinking of any rules and guides. You will act naturally and in a harmoniously way, no more or no less. At this stage, you have fulfilled the state of self-enlightenment. Moving forward, if you can also start teaching others about the True Path, helps others to stop living in their miserable state of minds, doing so will also benefit the community and your country. And now you are living fully in the True Path, or Buddha’s way. This is the True Path that will lead you to the Great Heaven and your true spirit is free at any place in the universe.
